Inclusive physical activity can include sport, exercise and other activities that may not look like ‘sport’. Connecting with new people, opportunities to be creative, or volunteer all also provide ways to be more active.
The Health Disability Activity Pathway is delivered in partnership between NHS Wales, Disability Sport Wales and Local Sport Development Teams. The pathway can help connect you/your child with inclusive opportunities to be active, including sport, within your local area.
No matter your age, ability, or how fit you feel, help is available to find suitable activities.
To find out about inclusive clubs, activities, and events near you, ask your health or social care professional to complete a signposting form. You /and your child will then be provided with information on opportunities that you may wish to explore further.
